yet another rear gear question...longhorn.

i have always asumed that i had a 3.73 rear end. i followed the instrutions found in this post. about turning the tire and counting how many times the driveline turns...

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ight=rear+gear

my results say its a 4.11. it could be right i guess, but this truck has never be able to spin the tires much, and its a bit of a dog off the start. the power of the motor should be enough.. on the high way i run 70mph at 3000 rpm. 16 inch rims. Tire size 235/85/r16.

does this sound like a 411 to you? btw its an open axel.
