Its alive!

The old longhorn has been upgraded to a 6 spd richmond trans. Hays billet 400 sb flywheel, centerforce dual friction clutch, ARP fasteners, modified stock clutch linkage with rod ends& a little carvin on the firewall to get a straight push on the parts. The trans crossmember was modified(notched & tab added to keep the drive line angles in check). She has been run in on the stands, & speedo gears set up. Ratios on the trans are 3.28, 2.14,1.57, 1.24,1, .76. With the 4.10 gears she will be redline in low @ 37 mph......6th gear will put me @ 100 mph @ an easy 3750, just a tick above peak tork on that 383! The snow/rain has put a damper on the road test, but it looks like i need to pull an axle on that 12 bolt ( me think she be twisted!) Oops! when we play, Iguess we have to pay crazyL, ready jam some gears
