Moving engine back

So I'm moving my V8 in my '67 from the front mounts to the rear I6 mounts for better weight distribution and better access for working on the ancillaries.

Do I need to swap the mount towers from left to right and right to left? It seems to line up better that way. Will I need to drill a hole in the cross member for the lower bolt? There doesn't seem to be one in the right spot.

Thanks!
