My other woman...

I bought my 1972 chevy stepside on 08-15-09. It hasnt been on the road in over 3 years. The guy i bought it from was making a very good attemp at a restoration. He cut alot of corners but its ok... his ladyu is in very good hands... I call my truck my other woman...

I spent about 3 hours with my Other woman tonight. Quality time was as follows...

-mounted front signal lights behind billet grill
- Billet grill means getting on the damn ground to pop the hood.... I got the idea from bedsled71 to make "T" handle to release my hood.
- Monkied around with the tail light assembly long enough to decide to buy new ones. The last thing i need is for officer friendly to tell me my left tail light is out with a cold one on my lap.

My tranny is stuck in reverse and My brakes suck a** that will be next on my agenda... I will put up a befor and after on the grill next time.
