New ride
So here's the story. had a 94 2x4 I-6 5 speed for awile, owned one in HS as well. Not too long ago my 94 had the e-brake cable break and run away down a hill and t-bone itself into a pole...exactly what i needed. Been looking for a 96 F-150 4x4 I6 5spd regular cab long box, seen to be hard to find and when I did they were pricy. Found this one 270 miles away, it needed a clutch so they shipped it to me for 2500 wich is lil under half of blue book. It is up on stands now to put the clutch in and I noticed the locking hubs dont work! But oh well I figure I put 200 dollar clucth/slave cylder job and a 120 dollar Warn hub set and I should be good to go. Still think I got a good price. These I6 5speeds are the only fords I will drive, and I am stoked to have a 4x4 one now. I have noticed many of us one this site own one of these trucks as well. Coincidence or do these apeal to the same kind of people aka us here at the 1947-present channel?
