ventilation hoses

I need to replace all of the ventilation hose in the cab of my '70 c10. It sat in my dad's shed for two years while not being used and the mice decided it would make a pretty good hotel. As you can imagine the stench was pretty bad. Now everything is cleaned out except all the hoses fell apart when I took them out. I'm looking at the LMC set - they seem pretty reasonable. Anyone done this and can you give me any tips on what to do or not do?
