volt guage - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I instaled a full guage set to replace mi dummy light guage set. Following GMC paul's instuctions I get a drain and kills my battery.
1: I dont have a junction block for my ground so I grouned it to my dash
2: I conected the + wire to the genarator(red wire). Im suppose to tie it in with the red wire on voltage regulator but it seems like it's all linked togetter, this is why i connected it to the genarator. Can anyone help?
