longhorn update...teaser pic

Gettin closer. I thought i'd fire it up last night, but WAY too many things went wrong, and after 3 hrs of labor, the only successful thing i did was install the throttle return spring.
Any how, I have a Caddy quadrajet on there now with an electric choke, got everything wired up and looking stock. Factory harness donated the proper connections and all.
The cool thing is, i won't be needing the electric fan like i had thought. Turned out the front clip bushings raised it enough to make it all work. Who woulda guessed?
On the 'still to do' list, I need to get the drive shaft stripped down, the U-joints are being a real PITA. It took a torch, 2 guys, and 2 1/2 hrs just to seperate the 2 halves of the drive shaft...so much or a slip joint.
I need to figure out what I'm gonna do about the radiator, the one that was in the longhorn ended up leaking after a year of storage. It didn't just leak, it was p!ssin out a steady stream of water. Once I have a rad in there, i can install/bend/hook up the hard lines for the cooler, and it'd be ready to fire up and move under its own power...although i oughta bleed the brakes before that madin voyage. (new master cylinder)
