What would you do?

So I have decided to swap the frame on Bessie over to the 72 C10 frami I just picked up. I want to use the truck as a driver, home depot, dump run, haul a small traier type of goto truck. No really heavy hauling will be done without the use of a trailer.

Now I have some decisions to make. the frame is a GMC frame so it has a leaf sprung 12 bolt under it. Bessie has the 3/4 ton coil / trailing arm setup with a reversed leaf overload setup. I cant decide if I want to keep the 1/2 ton leaves or if I want to swap in the 1/2 ton axle using the 3/4 ton coils and trailing arms? I eventually want to drop her down 3-4 inches in the rear with a C-notch.

So basically I want a 5 lug Daily driver that can haul a load with a decent stance....throw me some opinions on this
