Original specs from 1970????

I am wondering if there is somewhere to go and find out the original specs of a 70 C20?
Like horse power,torque,etc?
Mine came with a 350 but was replaced some time ago with what I thought was a 350 but have not run the block numbers yet.
I bought what I thought was a good running rebuilt 350 to replace this one which is wore out, smoking, burning oil.
I ran the numbers only to find I bought a 307.
I am in the process of getting my money back.He said he would refund it but we all know how that goes.
Other question is if I get stuck with this 307 which has had valve work and high compression pistons, how much of a drop off is this from an original 350?
I removed the intake, heads, cam and verified it LOOKS new/rebuilt.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

AJ
