sbc 1 3/4 headers

This is my first post so I'll start by saying great site you guys have here. I've been drag racing for about ten years now and know enought to be dangerous, mostly with a '67 nova. I have owned my 85 shorty for at least five years, I think. To cut a long story short it's now time for the pick up to have it's day in the sun.
The problem is I'm having trouble figuring out which headers to run. The ones that are on there the collectors point at the ground at about 35 dergrees or so. This caused my exhaust guy to have to put a bend in the head pipe after the collector and before the muffler. The goal is to have everything level with the floor pan so I can run a three inch x-pipe. Once that is in place I can modify the crossmember to clear the exhaust, eventually dumping out in front of the rear wheel arch, through the bedside. I have taked with the people at Hooker but they can't tell me "for sure" if there level or not. Soory for such a long post.- Damon
