Happy to make your aquaintance. New from the 5-1-2.

Hello everyone. I am really happy to be a registered member of this site. I have read many threads here over the last few years and it inspires me to keep working on my 1973 Chevy Custom Deluxe 20 --3/4 ton. This is a very cool website! I always look forward to seeing new photos posted of their Chevy trucks.

I come from a Chevy truck family. My dad always drove a Chevy truck when I was a boy and he still does. I now have a '73 just like my Dad had when I was a boy. I bought it from a super nice guy named Ron who I worked for in southern California. When I decided to move back from CA to Texas I loaded up my '73 and drove it back here to Austin. I have been fixing it up a little at a time over the last couple years or so including bodywork and eventually I will paint it.

I sell Volvos for a living but working on my '73 Chevy C20 is one of my favorite things to do on my off time.
