Placement looks good. You sholud double check it by installing the water pump/fan/radiator to confirm it. As far as the tubular mount goes. If you just try and twist it so the drop moves to the rear it will cause the motor mount tubes to rotate forward. That will require you to cut them loose and reweld them. As KultureKat says you might be able to flip it around side to side and it should put the drop to the rear and not affect to motor mounts as much, just a thought!
