Fuel cell in toolbox?
I have been wanting to remove the in-cab gas tank from my truck for more room for speakers. Today i bought a plastic Delta toolbox that mounts on the bed floor of my truck, and sits below the bedrails. There is more than enough room on the inside for a plastic 16-gallon fuel cell from Jeg's. My question is, would it be safe to mount the fuel cell in the plastic tool box? I could bolt the cell directly through the box into the bed if needed. I have some concern about vapors building up in the box, so would several 1" diameter vent holes placed around the box vent it out OK?
I really don't want to mess with a blazer tank, due to having to somehow make a filler neck without cutting a hole in my bed floor. Thanks for any help
