Power steering pump leaking

I was replacing my Water Pump and had to disconnect the Power Steering Pump and I had it laying to the side while installing the W.P. .It set like that overnight, the next morning there was a puddle of P.S fluid on the floor, What the ---- is this . I looked at the pump and behind the pulley it is all wet with fluid. I checked the hoses and they were ok . Now, the pump never leaked before and never made noise and I just check it for fluid last week, It was up to full. The shaft seal only leaks under pressure, I think, could it be the housing seal? Anybody experience this ? Power steering pump is standard for GM , Thanks for any comments
