Proper introduction; FNG w/ 1997 2WD 2 Door Tahoe in VA
Hey guys.
I posted on one of the threads IRT wheels on my 1997 Tahoe. I've been searching for "this" truck for 2 years, and finally found it in Ohio. I bought it off eBay last month. I found this board via searching for wheels: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...352320&page=13 Specs: 1997 2 Door 2WD Tahoe I bought with 62,xxx original miles on OCT '09 Bell Tech rear drop and de-arched springs 6" ? Bell Tech front drop spindles and coil springs 4" ? --Front end is getting stock springs and Bell Tech shocks soon Custom front bumper Custom front GMC header panel without side markers. Fiberglass rear roll pan Custom hidden hitch and food down license plate Current 15x10 and 15x6 steelies w/ BFG rubber --Wheels/tires getting replaced with bigger soon Completely stock gray leather "LT" interior except for Catch-All floor mats --http://www.discountvantruck.com/ front seat setup going in soon K&N filter Magnaflow cat-back exhaust Shaved roof rack Fiberglass cowl induction hood --Lots of LEDs being added soon --Stereo being upgraded soon I had a 1996 2-Door 4WD Tahoe several years ago, and had to upgrade to a bigger truck due to a planned bigger boat purchase; (went to a 2500 Avalanche 4x4 and now have a PSD Ford CC 4x4 Dually). I've missed that Tahoe ever since I traded it in. Now I have another which will be a driver; and I can't wait to get it set up for my liking. It wasn't supposed to cost me this much though! I just had all new intake gaskets put on last week. The springs and suspension will be changed this week. I did not buy this truck to tow, but it's awesome that it already came with the hitch and rear Air-Lift airbags. I have a bigger boat, but also this all-original 1985 "Cigarette" Mini Hawk. I can't actually see the MH when I tow it with my dually, so the 'Hoe is perfect for it! Last edited by Sydwayz; 11-23-2009 at 10:11 AM. |
