This hinge system is ideal for extremely lowered applications, where the factory hinges were no longer compatible. This hood hinge system utilizes a bolt-in, cowl-mounted hinge and pocket system. The hood mounting portion provides a weld-on mounting pad that is welded to the underhood’s support frame, and then bolt’s to the hinges pivot arm with adjustability for hood alignment. This is a clean and simple system that can be easily installed, and allows adequate hood to cowl panel clearances when opened.
