Those who have installed Vintage Air please look
I have searched but cannot find a solid answer to this. When installing a vintage air kit into a 72 that ORIGINALLY had factory A/C, what all "vents" can be welded up. I'm pretty sure that the kick panel vents by your feet along with the old fan hole on the firewall are no longer used. Also, what about the cowl area where the original fresh/recirculate flap was, can I weld that area up to keep leaves and dirt from gathering down there again? I think the answer to all of this is YES, I am just hoping to hear from someone who has actually done this conversion. Thanks.
