SquareD Registered User Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Portsmouth, RI Posts: 1	Tire?Rim size Hi, I am a newby, and am putting together a '81 stepside. As per a recommendation, I got AmericanRacing 8" for the front, and 10" for the back. The recommended tire size for the 10" rims is 255/70/15. So my question is, will that mount up OK? The tire company recommends not wider than an 8.5 rim for this tire. But that is their guideline. What do you think, are the 255s Ok on a 10"rim? Thanks, SquareD
