HP/torque/driveline calculator
Does anyone know of a calculator that will tell me the amount of torque at what gear gives you what speed for a given weight?
For instance how much torque do I need at 1800 RPM to move a truck with a 700R4,3.08 gears, that weighs 3400 #, 70 miles an hour.I'm sure tire size would also have to be factored in. I'm thinking a calculator like this would be a good tool to use in coming up with an overall combination for a truck power system. "Curious minds want to know!"
