No more faded tin grille emblem!!!

I was out at the local pull it yourself wrecking yard looking for some parts I need and came across a 79 Big 10 that had a real grille emblem made of metal and not a thin piece of faded tin foil like was on my 78 K20.

The grilles were identical so I snagged the emblem.

Turns out my 78's grille was already drilled for the emblem holes so all I had to do was peel it off the rest of the way and bolt on the "new" emblem.

Looks 1000x better.

Forgot to take a close up of the peeling off stock emblem before I peeled it off the rest of the way, oh well.
