What did you get done? 11/29 Thanksgiving edition

Bob is off line enjoying the weekend with family. He asked me to do the Thanksgiving version of our "What did you get done" post.

I spent Thursday at my Mom-in-laws house doing our traditional deal. The men sit on the back patio deep frying birds, while the women cook in the kitchen.

We cooked three turkeys and a chicken this year. They turned out great but we did have a casualty. Due to my bro-in-law making an executive decision to start with a lower cooking temp to prevent boil over, then adding to our cook time we ended up with a bird that look like a prop from Christmas Vacation.

It will make for a great source of laughter and stories for years to come.

The rest of the weekend was spent doing work around the house. I did get to slip away and go to the Houston Auto-Rama for a few hours. I haven't downloaded my pics yet, but here is sneak peak at on of my favorites.
