6.0 LS questions - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a buddy who owns a construction company that rolled one of their work trucks. I am not sure on the exact year but I would say 04-07. It has the 6.0 motor with auto tranny.

I know I have read pros and cons to different intake configurations etc. What is everyones opinions on using this motor in one of our trucks if we want to make power. I think the truck motors are the ones that do not fit quite well.

Is this correct?
