Paint color question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 68' SWB I'm getting ready to do a motor/tranny swap on and want to repaint the automatic colum I will be putting in to replce my three on the tree. It and the steering wheel are that orange some interior parts were painted that year, mostly red trucks had that color interior although my truck is black. It's kind of a weird combo becuase they used the maroon (I think it's firethorn) on the door panels to match the dash pad and visors while the colum and wheel are this orange. Anyone know what the orange is called and/or a code?
