what a waste.

I was out driving last night(driving back from the salvage yard) when I saw this mint conditions 68-72 short stepside bed being used as a trailer for hauling wood. I took a closer look, the bed had no dents, and the inner part just had surface rust. I asked the guy that owned it, if he was willing to sell it. "Nope", took that off the truck when I bought the truck. He showed me the truck it came off of. 1969 swb 4x4(now has a flatbed), and it was all beat to hell.

He then told me all the tales the truck had been through: its been hit by a tractor, slid it into some trees, haystack fell over on it once. and on and on.

Finally we both came to the conclusion that you can do any better than a chevy truck, and then I drove the rest of the way home.
