winter fun

Woke up this morning to find the temp at a lustry -45. Everything plugged in cept for my ol' 72. Jumped into the work truck (07 chev) the battery tried its best but a no go. Next the wife's youkon(05), same deal, poor batteries in this weather. So i thought great, i gotta call a cab to go to work, but then i thought maybe i should try the 72 that has been parked for 3 months and i havent looked at it since then. Thinking about a frozen block, connecting rods exploding out the side of it and oil as thick as concrete, i hit the key and VROOM! To my surprise it fired up and didnt sound like a 100 cats in a blender, so i used the ol girl to jump the other 2.
My wife asked my why we bother with new vehicles if they leave us in predicaments like this and i agreed. So now im off to find a 55 nomad and some battery warmers until i get one
