New guy from Minneesooota

Hi there

I've been on here a couple weeks, I guess I should finally introduce myself.

I bought a 64 fleetside shortbox last summer. I have (or had) intentions of "just driving it" and "fixing a few things", but we all know how that goes.

Hopefully this link works http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=382483

So far I've purchased fenders, cab corners, rockers, trim, doors, and even different cab(doh!)

I've had a few older cars in the past (48 chev, 48 pontiac, 67 el camino, 72 chevelle, 27 t roadster) but this is my first older truck.

I spend quite a bit of time on message boards already, but its usually for work. I work for a Ford Dealership, selling parts. We sponser a few sites, and I usually answer posts and PMs regarding parts

I've already spent time looking at posts of guys patching cabs; its almost got my lazy butt motivated! I'd like to get this truck driving again by summer . My plans are to patch everything up, paint it all Eastwood hotrod black, assemble, and do a few mechanical things. Piece of cake, right?

I wish everyone a good holiday!

-Mike
