Back to basics, pt.1

1) Please forgive me, as i know little to nothing about the 67-72 series---i'm a 73-87 fan.

2) Also, please forgive, as i feel i must ask questions as they come to me---even thought this is often out of sync with my current projects or life situation; i do not currently own a 67-72. i have a 73-87 truck, but more and more the 67-72's are beginning to fascinate me.
However, if i do not ask what i consider to be "burning questions," i fear that i might forget them and thus may never recieve an answer---which could affect my life/life situation(s) in the future.

A) Can any 67-72 gmc's grill/frontend---i.e., hood fenders etc. be interchanged with any 67-72 chevy model?

B) Is the frame of the 67-72 series the same as the 73-87 series? They look awfully similar and i also "heard" that the front suspension---control arms steering etc. IS the same?
