Breaking in problems, or did I do something wrong?

Installed CCP; tubular lower and upper control arms kit, then upgraded the front brakes to disc brake kit. Not sure why I am noticing a 1/4 inch drop on left front. Had it gone over by mechanic friend, and aligned. Drives and brakes straight. Steering has been great since I bought it. Where do I go from here?

700 R4 I put in pulls strong, but does that lugging thing around 40-45 or so. Before that and after that point, nothing odd. Normal or was the tranny switch set correctly, tv cable?

Just got it on the road a few days ago and DONT want to mess it up. Wife would kill.

I appreciate it.
