Lowering Questions:

Alright, I did a search and had way to many returns for an easy answer.

I want to put a 3.5-4/6 drop on my 70 chevy SWB, I have coil in the rear. I am going to be using drop spindles with lowering springs in the front. Here are my questions for the rear:

1) What should I use to keep a softer ride, yet not bottom out?
2) Why would I use airbags? I know I can adjust the height with them, but is that the only reason to use them?

TIA
