Hello All! Newbie here with a C-10

Just bought my dad's almost restored 1969 Chevy C-10.
Dont know much about it other than it's on a c-10 72 frame. High performance engine parts galore. This sucker is fast.. And with that in mind it eats gas like no tomorrow. Of course I have developed a lead foot in the process so now I have to learn how to ease off on the pedal. I still have yet to decide if I am going to keep it. My dad has only owned for for a few short years so there is no family bond with the truck yet. It's my daily driver as of now but feel like I need something else to commute to work in.
