1970 El Camino?

I was wondering what you guys think of the 1970 El Camino?
My friend has one and only wants 400.00 for the car. He is only the second owner and the rear end is missing. the car is complete otherwise. It even comes with extra sheetmetal. I have always liked this year El Camino and will probably get it. I just wonder how hard it will be to find a rearend that will fit the car. Any ideas.

P.S. The car runs and needs to be restored but it in good shape. Minus the rearend.
