700R4 Crossmember: Will this one work? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Got my frame painted and while the cab is off I'm wanting to install a new crossmember for the 700r4. My truck had a old 3 speed manual on the column. I found this one:

If this will work, whats the easiest way to get this thing mounted properly? I can see myself mounting this thing and it being off 1/2" or so and really giving me he77!!! I have a 72', will there already be holes drilled?

I'm off to do more searching.
