Vintage Air -firewall question

I'm starting to shave the firewall on my 67'.I have a vintage air sure-fit unit to put in & I'm not sure about the routing of the hoses. The hoses come straight out the back & look like they're right at the firewall. Not sure what one or if I can use a bulkhead fitting.I wanted to run the hoses over where the fan was.Maybe I can move the inside unit forward & use 90* fittings.Cab is gutted so inside unit isn't installed.Any ideas?...............Bob
