HELP finding column shifter collar for 3spd

I am having a bear of a time finding a column shifter collar (see photo of similar item) to replace the worn one on my '69. It seems that the previous owner was a sloppy shifter and now the hole which holds the shifter pin is wallowed out and it lets the shifter arm hang.

I thought this would be something I could find without much trouble (I have replaced them on old Broncos), but I can't find one anywhere. Does anyone make a replacement one? All the big box auto parts stores carry them for other vehicles, but not for a chevy truck that I can find.

How have you solved the problem (without going to a floor shifter)? It looks like pot metal so I don't think welding in the hole and then drilling it out for the pin will work, so I am stumped and it is getting tough driving and having it hang in one gear. I am planning on going to an auto tranny at some point and don't want to cut out the floor for a 3spd shifter (plus I don't know if it would fit right with the stock Rockwell transfercase I have in my truck as the transfer case shifter lever is all bent over toward the gas pedal and seems like it would be in the way of a tranny shifter).

All help is greatly appreciated.
