Holley Numbers?

I need to order a heat shield for my Holley. I was reading on the Holley site apparently the stain and small puddle I see the next day is do to heat. I found one heat shield on summit but says it needs to be certain part # to fit. So after looking at my carb?? Anyone have a clue which or where should I be looking for this? And am I going to need a magnifer to see it? I seen one number apparently rather small but looked to be too long. Please don't tell me I need to remove the carb..???
