1968 K10 Help

I'm a newbie at this and hopefully ya'll can provide me some help. I've own this truck since I was 16 years old and I have to put my truck on hold for a few different reasons: Join the USMC for eight years, got married, money problems, and a couple of other things. I had to take a job out of state and then out of the states for money reasons. Now I have some spending money and would like to get er' running after all these years. I've already got a rebuilt 327, good 465/205, new clutch, fixed up the cab and interior, new cooling systems, all new wiring harnesses, and brand new hard and soft brake lines. I also bought a 76' 3/4 frame for the axles for a future axle swap. It's going to be my hunting/fishing/slight trailing/everyday work truck so I don't need a ton of fancy parts. Just 33's or 35's and 4-6 inch lift. My body and drive train is all good so here is my dilemma:

Looks like the previous owner got into a slight wreck and screwed up all my suspension brackets (truck dog legs down the road) or my axles are bent, but the frame measures good. I was wondering if my 68' body will swap onto a 69-72 K-10 or K-20 frame with any major snags? I've already contacted DIY4X and he is non exactly for sure if the FGB-52 brackets will work because it is designed for a 69-72. I've already threw out the idea to him that if he wants he can us my truck for R&D, but not for sure if he has time for such an oddball year truck. He's very polite and a busy guy.

Do ya'll think it's a better route for to do a frame swap (69-72), or try the FGB-52's? I really appreciate all the help and will post pics whenever I get back to the states and start working on er'. Thanks again.
