Talking Hello from ND

Hi,

I have been reading the boards here for quite a while and thought I might as well join so I can chime in. My 11 yr old son and I just acquired a 71 C-10 LWB that my dad restored in the early 90's. It had been sitting in his garage for quite a while not being used. It took me several months but I talked him out of it. Just gave him my 72 K10 (in a few hundred pieces in his garage since '94) and some cash. I don't live close enough to get that one finished.

It needs a few things from sitting for so long but should be a great driver by spring. My son isn't quite as enthused about the fixing part as I am, but he is coming around. He does quite enjoy the cruising, however. I will post some pics soon. I have a few old ones lying around.

Thanks to everyone here for all the great info and hope to see you around.

Jason
