"Honey I can check one off the list. Is it ok if I buy some car parts now?
I found a laid off carpenter of 25 yrs to help with my project. Our house has been without a chandelier since we bought it. The challenge was the 21' height floor to ceiling and the stairs that obstructed the gap. With a trailer full of lumber and scaffolding we agreed on how to assemble it. It was his behind that was going to be on it so I let him call the shots. I did ask him for more bracing. I also asked the we put an extra scaffold end on as a handrail in case he lost his balance. Three hours later we were done. It cost me about the same as if I were to rent my own scaffolding. Glad it's done now. Heres some pictures.
