POL tubular lower a arms

I am installing tubular a arms from POL along with 2.5" drop spindles on my 65 this weekend. I noticed that the piece on the spindle that limits the steering is hitting the lower a arm. This piece is supposed to hit the limiter on the top of the a arm, but actually hits the arm. It is still on jack stands and my question is will this correct itself when the wheels and tires are put on and it is actually on the ground. I can't test it right now because I changed from 6 lug to 5 lug and don't have the wheels yet. Any help would be appreciated.
