69-72 Chevy Blazer/GMC Jimmy Two Wheel Drive Chassis
I decided to go a different route with my 72 Jimmy and build a new frame.
I am selling the previous frame I had built for this baby. It is not original, it is a longbed frame that was shortened to the Blazer wheelbase. The frame is gusseted where the shortening took place. The rear has about a 6-8" C-notch. I am including the 12 bolt rearend and all the front suspension stuff too. There is no springs of any kind, was gonna be bagged. The frame is painted gloss black with POR-15 and all the steering components are new. The front suspension needs to be finished and installed. I also think the spindles should be replaced with drop spindles. Also, the front frame rails were cut and a custom bumper is installed to fit behind a roll pan, I think this is an awesome setup. The frame is a roller right now, the rearend is installed and the front is on casters. New Parts: Steering Box Ball Joints Tie Rods (Inner, Outer, & Sleeves) Bearings Pitman Arm Idler Arm Tie Rod Poly Boots Rear U-bolts Brake Rotors Some of these pics are from before the frame was painted: Everything listed for $200 Last edited by addicted2dunes; 02-13-2010 at 03:57 PM. |
