your research is wrong. That is a buick engine. Cant tell what size from the front as all buick engines look very similar from that angle. Chev, olds, and pontiac have the distributor in the back. Buick, cadilac and fords have the distributor in the front. As far as the value of the truck, I would put it at whatever the box is worth. Anyone that would drop a buick engine between the framerails, and walk away from the project, has probably hacked the rest of the truck as well.
