Well, I got the 455 in.... everything hooked up.... found a drive shaft..... new shifter.... made new linkage for the carb..... made my 50 trips to the part stores.... everything is done except the exhaust..... so I can't run it.... I live in a residential area.... and open headers won't fly..... I have to get 90º off the collecter within the first 6".... so..... there it sat all day because I don't have a welder..... hopefully tomorow I'll get the parts together....
I did start it for about 3 seconds.... had to check it at least, and of course it sounded perfect... kinda like the bells at heaven's gate..... fired right up.... and smoothed right out.... but my fiance thought the windows in the house were going to rattle out
.... (hehe), so that was the last time for that.....
That's the end of my story... so next time.... when you are having too much fun playing with the good stuff.... don't forget about the other crap so you don't get stuck sitting....
