Help with gauge reconnect

I need some help with checking and reconnecting my stock gauges. 1987 Silverado, with and engine swap prior to my purchase. The only gauge that works is the volt meter. The previous owner installed a gauge cluster below the dash but only the temp is working there. I have no experience with working on these gauges. I know the basics but I have no idea where to start correcting this.

What info do you experts need to help me out? Where can I get a diagram of the original setup?

The cluster has the speedometer and fuel gauge for the two large ones, and volts, temp, oil, and blank for the 4 small ones.
