292 Build or scrap? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 292 in the truck I am building and I read somewhere that a pre 1975 head will go on to it and then I can get a aftermarket intake a header. I am not looking to make a ton of power so I thought the 6 would be a lil different. If anybody knows if the whole head thing will work that would be great.
