Working Electric Rear Window

I'm working on a 67 Donor Cab with the small rear window. There was a discussion on the Forum about fabricating a rear window setup that would open downward. I gave it some thought and came up with this. Take the top pieces from two old doors and weld them together for the top surround. This gives you the channel for the glass to home into. Now, the straight piece of the door top that is in front of the Vent window could possibly be fabricated to be the drop down side channels. An old electric set up out of a station wagon may provide the mechanism and motor. Of course the glass will be custom.
As for Rain intrusion the top edge of the donor doors can be fabricated to be the bottom edge of the window. Inside the Cab will be a removable Panel to prevent rain from entering the interior of the truck Cab. Drain holes will be in the bottom of this closed area. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Al W.
