Easiest way to lower the rear of my truck

I have a 1964 GMC Fleetside with rear leaf suspension. What would be the easiest way to lower the rear..

I bought some drop shackles from a member who said he had them on his 72, but they will not fit my leaf mounts in the rear. The book says 63-72 so I guess he had the later model shackles......

So, can you drop the leafs under the axle?

I know I can buy drop mono leafs, but $ 400..!!!!.a little too much for me....
And I could just order a set of drop shackles, but I thought I would see what other options are out there.....

So what would be my options?

Thanks for the help

Chad
