Arrow Me and my newly purchased 67 Long/Wide Small Window

Hi fellas, been looking at the forums for only a few days, but I thought i'd join...looking for a vast sea of knowledge.

I've been looking for a 67 Long bed for a long time, and finally found one that was worth the money to buy. Just finalized the purchase today, and since i'm deployed, i won't be able to start tearing into it until after i get back to the states in a couple of months, but i'm excited. 67 has always been my favorite year model of truck and I'm stoked about fixin' it up.

I've been a builder/fabricator/mechanic for years. Done lots of differant builds and just now got back into custom classics. I'm currently working on another truck my 85' blazer, but i'll keep that off this forum.

anyhow, here are some of the specs. not a lot done to it as i am happy about.
350 Chevy Four Bolt Main
Comp Cam
Weiand Intake
Hooker Headers
Holley 650 Double Pumper
Munchie SM420
10 bolts, but i'm gonna go 14bff rear and a d44 3/4 ton up front. I'm planning on doing a lift. probably just enough to clear 36's and be able to turn and have a little bit of flex

Here are a few pics, there isn't much rust on it which i'm happy about...but i will have to do some work. The truck came originally with a v6 and it was a dog, so the original owner swapped in a 350 the odometer is true tho...it has 75k original miles on the whole truck between the two motors. it needs some work, but it has solid running gear...except the previous owner showed me a picture of the front axle and i see some coolant on the tie rod, so i'll have to dig into that a little. might have just filled it and got some on there cause it doesn't look like it had sat on the rod much, but we'll see.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking...hope to gain some good knowledge about this truck here.

Jack
