what would you do with it?

I'll be picking up a 68, long bed, 3/4, 2wd, chevy pickup. The body is in great condition. The guy said the tranny may be slipping and it doesn't currently run because he tried to do a tune up over a year ago with new points and plugs and it hasn't run since. I think getting it running should be easy, just correct his mistakes. Would you keep or sell it. It would be nice to have a street truck, but the 3/4 bolt pattern doesn't lend itself to nice wheels. I'm not really interested in swapping axles and spindles either.
