Barn Door Conversion Question????

Guys,

I'm converting from hatch and tailgate to barn doors on my 72 burb and it looks like there is no access to get any nuts and washers in to bolt down the upper door strike, rubber bumpers, and door sliders/checks.

What have you guys done? Sheet metal screws? Do you think the screws are going to hold everything tight?

Thanks, Kevin
